If the company is not going to have a limousine available on your wedding day, it is useless to know how much it would have cost you. If you will be getting married during a peak season, you should start calling the local limousine companies as soon as you have your wedding date set. This will almost guarantee you a limo for your special day.

Finding the transportation for your wedding day should be taken care of as early as possible. Almost immediately following the booking of the place where the ceremony and the reception is going to be held. When you are calling, you should have an idea how long it is going to take for you to get from the first place to the second and then to the final destination. You will need this when you are talking and booking your transportation on your wedding day. Keep in mind the number of people in the wedding party, you might need an additional limo to bring your wedding party. If you do, refer back to your budget and make some adjustments if necessary.

For the most part, the wedding party will usually ride with their guest from the ceremony to the reception, leaving you and your new spouse in the limo by yourselves. However, it is solely up to the two of you if you prefer you can have the entire wedding party brought to the reception in the limo as well.

If you are considering using another form of transportation to your ceremony and reception you might be in for a lot of decision making. There are several different types of transportation available for a bridal party. The bride and the maid of honor might ride in a horse drawn carriage and the rest of the wedding party on the bride’s behalf may go in a limo. This will give the bride and groom the horse drawn carriage for their departure to the reception.

You might prefer a classic car ride to your ceremony, to find out if there are any in your area you should either go online or look in the phone book. You should keep in mind the amount of money the two of you have allotted for transportation. Classic cars are generally not large enough for an entire wedding party, so you might have to rent more than one in order to get your wedding party to the wedding. In this case, your budget might not allow for transportation of this nature.

Finally, once you have decided on your transportation it is time for you to go over the contract with the company. Find out if they have any package deals that might come with champagne or any other extras. Another wise thing to find out before signing the contract is what will the driver be wearing. This might sound funny, but it is very important, especially in the horse drawn carriage. You might even be able to have your driver wear your wedding colors. Understand your contract fully before you sign it. Know the cancellation process and any refunds that you can get if you choose to cancel the contract.
